You know that line about life being what happens while you’re making plans?

The plan, my plan was great: mornings on the computer, afternoons in the shed, throwing pottery. Today was supposed to be my first day working on the Valentine’s day collection.

But I woke up to this frozen landscape so, grabbed my camera – dead battery. I picked my phone instead, best moments don’t care for charged batteries or perfect plans.

They’re simple, like a frozen early winter morning.
